Not a bad price at all.

The UK proof of Ghoul cost me $250! Wish I could have found it for 12 bucks!

Well I'm a little skeptical about it being brand new. But the seller did have a 100% feedback rating so that does make feel a little bit better. Unfortunately I have to find the cheapest prices on books that I can find. So I always try to find the best copy that I can for the lowest price. I am trying to get as many of Slades books as I can in hardcover. I already have Headhunter and Crucified so Ghoul will be number 3. I already have all his books in paperback, but there is just something about a hardcover book that you just can't beat.

Thats how it started for me. But it didn't end at hardcovers!

Well, my wife and I just moved into a house with an $800.00 rental price. That's the most either one of us has ever had to pay for a rental. We both make decent money, but we still have to budget our money a bit. I would love to collect all the different versions of the books. I especially would like the copy of Ghoul that has the skull shaped guitar on the cover. Do you know the one that I mean?

I sure do - its the UK 1st edition. Definitely a better cover than the US edition, even if the colours are a bit tacky!

I got Slade to sign one of my copies when Crucified came out and got my other signed one from the same guy in the UK who I got the UK proof from.

This list ranks cheapest to most expensive. If you just want a hardcover with the guitar cover then look at the "Guild Publishing" ones as they are the book club editions and worth less. If you want a 1st edition look at the "WH Allen" ones, and confirm with sellers that the dust jacket is priced.

Because they ship from the UK, you looking at probably $20- $30 or more once you factor in shipping though.
