I saw 5'6" in one place, but they're not always all that correct. You just can't go by information on the internet. I found a Myspace page for her that says she's 29, is that correct?

I'd say by the Youtube sample reel that she's got the ability to pull off all the different emotions she'll need to quite well.

I think it's currently in what's commonly referred to as "Development Hell".

Of course, maybe they don't really want it made into a film:

The result was Headhunter, first published in 1984 and later sold to the New American Library for $125,000 (U.S.), a record for a Vancouver author at the time. Headhunter is still earning money for the original partnership, according to Clarke, and has been lucratively optioned for film so many times, he jokes, "we can't afford to have it made into a movie." He is confident, however, that the current rights-holders will follow through.

LOL

Has it been optioned more than the two times I know about Slade? That being the Yaletown option back in the 90s, I believe, as well as the current Brightlight Pictures/Patrick Lussier/Wil Zmak development hell production.

Yeah, I know. I read somewhere where Steven Spielberg has been trying to get a film version of the Stephen King/Peter Straub novel, The Talisman, off the ground for over 20 years now. If Steven Spielberg has problems getting enough backing for a project to make something happen, things must be difficult.

Another idea for Katherine Spann ... A.J. Cook, the actress about to leave her CRIMINAL MINDS role as J.J.

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0176882/

She's a very young looking 32. Although she doesn't really meet the requirements - heightwise - that I'd like to see, she's a very talented actress. And a Canadian to boot!
