Mephisto?

Slade,
Are you ever going to revisit Mephisto?

He is certainly a wonderful bad guy and worthy of a showdown with Zinc.

Blugill,

Never fear. I know what Mephisto is up to next. But when you next see him, it will be in a very different form.

Whenever we get to experience the genius again I will be drooling at my mouth.

Bring him On!

Sladists,

DEATH'S DOOR has been sold to Russia. As you know, I went behind the Iron Curtain in 1967, at the height of the Cold War, when THE SPY WHO CAME IN FROM THE COLD was reality. I've always wondered when I'd get to use that material. And now that Mephisto is going to team up with Russian minds...

As Stephen King says, "Eventually, it all goes in."

Can't wait to see what they do with the cover!

Hmmmm....

Mephisto in Russia eh???

Now what on earth could you do with that character in a place infested with ex-Communists, an out of control Mafia, the successors to the KGB, Lubyenka Prison and plenty of nuclear weapons....?

Oh yeah- I forgot about the embalmed bodies of dead leaders....should fit in nicely with strands laid down in earlier novels should that one!

I'm salivating at the prospect already...
