Discuss the novel Primal Scream with fellow Sladists...
The most merciful thing in the world... is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. - H. P. Lovecraft

i wanted other peoples opinions , did Spann know what she was or had she really forgotton what she had done in the first book ,

Which leads me to my next question if she did really forget did she deserve to die and what other options were there

Sparky24,

That's why we have the defense of insanity. A disease of the mind causes a break with reality, and because the killer doesn't grasp the nature and quality of his/her act, there's no criminal responsibility.

The alternative is a mental hospital.

Thank you so much for the reply.

Sparky is my fav character of all time as headhunter is the best book i have ever read ! I did not see that ending coming

I am just being pedantic but if Spann did not know what she was doing she did not deserve to die [ sorry that is the lawyer coming out in me ]

but Damm good death !

No, she didn't deserve to die...so that adds another layer of tragedy.

Life ain't fair.

Am i wrong in thinking that all your evil personages have been killed off by you, except for Mephisto?

Is it because the story has a beginning, a middle, and an end?

or is it because you like to tidy loose ends.

I know, but he wasn't the main villain...
he was a distraction...

of course knowing my luck he will turn out to be a young mephisto..

"The Mounties always get their man."

You can string a storyline out for only so long before readers get tired.

One arch-villain per series.

HEADHUNTER was never planned to have a sequel. Instead, it was to be a perpetual in-joke.

But readers wouldn't let it alone - "What about Sparky?" became a never-ending question - so we gave them what they wanted.

PohlSE, you're right, the copycat's there for astute readers. That's why a deck has wild cards.

Thank you Mr Slade for the reply , I guess the Mounties did not get there man in this case

On a personal level i could have read about her for the next 12 books !!!

It is so nice to have a strong female character
and well the Sparky side was just cool !!

I swear to never mention the subject again
