PohlSE,

One reason might be that folks are fed up with arrogant rebooters messing with the set canon of so many popular characters. Tarzan, Batman, etc., all have backstories.

Oh God, some probably thought, here goes Slade...

Nope.

Thank you, Slade.

For some reason that post became a topic of rumor and speculation on FB, even though it was easily solved by asking a direct question.

Well, it would help if the people who hang out on Facebook would bother to come here and participate. But, it seems they refuse to, even though I think this is a much more satisfying medium for discussion than Facebook Groups are. It is for that reason that I don't really look forward to Slade getting a page there, as then there will probably be even less participation here.

And, when I made the suggestion over there that people should come here and participate, I got a strip taken off of me. :ire:

And we now have somebody pointing out where to buy unauthorized Slade novels on FB.

I'm not DT, but here is what was posted at the Facebook Group:

This link shows there are some of his books out there in epub and mobi format. Are you aware of that?

well my guess would be (if it's taken literally from the novel...it should be Declercq)
though I think he looks kinda old :D

PS: Slade..I am in need of a new fix ^^, so addicted I even found a copy of Headhunter in French so I could get my fiancée hooked :)

Scott & TTD,

Sorry for the delay in replying, Scott.

That image is of Corporal Nick Craven and the beheaded snowboarder in RED SNOW.
