True but Zodiac would like a word with you :)

Something i have wanted to ask you Mr. Slade, have you ever been face to face with a bona fide psycho, and if so is it as unnerving as i would imagine it to be ?

There are three types of sweat in this world...

Apologies EZ, i don't know what that means :?:

"There are three kinds of sweat in this world, the sweat of work, the sweat of fear and the sweat of insanity." I think that's how it goes and it's a line that Slade has used a couple of times in his novels. That line just sticks in my head for some reason.

jellybelly,

As you work through the books, you'll come to know what it means. The folks you're conversing with here have read all 14 novels, and some have read each one several times.

I have a whole underground network to hide stuff in..

Best place as well..
Dark, rats the size of cats eating the evidence..
And a nice new sewer system.

Sorry, thinking out loud..

Welcome to the fright...

:D

Ghoul is one place that sweat saying is used.

Thanks dreab

I found this site just now, very interesting...

http://www.murderuk.com/serial_killers.html

I didn't know there was a real life Hannibal Lector, i also read through the James Bulger case, my goodness, awful, it shows how much the media leaves out whether it be for legal reasons or whatever, i am very surprised at the timeline before the actual murder, i seem to remember when it happened it seemed like he was abducted then murdered, sorry tortured straight away, which is not how it happened, poor little lad

And the justice system still bangs on about not giving the proper identities of these two sick men, seriously publish them and let 'natural' justice take it's course...sorry i am not supposed to say that am i :D

Speaking of serial killers, or on a broader topic ... World Events ....
A NEW SLADE NOVEL featuring our favourite and most elusive psycho killer would be wonderful! We all so love to read a NEW SLADE NOVEL about serial killers Why, one might even say that a NEW SLADE NOVEL would be a world event! Greater even than the Olympics!

So the Missing Women inquiry is going to take a break to replace the lawyer representing aboriginal interests who quit last week.

Read more: http://www.vancouversun.com/news/Missin ... z1p3sNH0N1

What will this mean for the results of the proceedings? Will this end up like the Royal Commission on Aboriginal Peoples back in the 1990s? Millions of dollars spent, thousands of pages of documents gathering dust?

It's been 15 years since I received a look of obvious prejudice and disdain from a store clerk (videostore cashier in Kamloops. Fucking punk.) so there are changes but still...I know it's incredibly frustrating for the ones who feel they don't have a voice in these proceedings. They're saying there needs to be wholesale change in the way segments and populations of society are treated but there is no willingness to listen from the ones in charge. :ire:

the movie that dreab trawets was mentioning about the spikes in the binoculars came out in the '60s. it was called Horror in the Black
Museum. It scared the hell out of me when I was a kid

brinoles,

I saw the actual spike binoculars in Scotland Yard's Black Museum in 1967.

You'll find pictures from the Black Museum in the RIPPER Morgue drawer.

On Sky tv.. in the UK..
A program about the people that have whole of life jail terms..
They will die in prison..

Yes in America you have 600 year sentences..
But in Britain it is rare..
