Found a DVD copy of the film SHOOT TO KILL at Value Village yesterday. What gorgeous scenery, filmed in the mountains around here! The story isn't bad either. Sidney Poitier hadn't made a film in over 10 years when he starred in this. And Tom Berenger is totally HOT in it. If you've never seen it, hunt down a copy of it and watch it.

Great 70s crime drama that I'd never heard about. The guy driving the black car in the car chase is the same guy that drove the Dodge Charger in the Bullitt chase scene.

Watched KINGSMAN THE SECRET SERVICE last night. I thought it was really good, and a lot of fun!

Could use this thread to promote the film I'm starring in again, but I won't! Promise.
A recent film I can recommend because my Missus enjoyed it also (and she really hasn't got time for films) is The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
Neat little film.
Good Horror films:
"Unfriended" and possibly "It Follows"
I wish somebody could make a new film along the lines of "Seven" or "8mm". I have a feeling it might have the number 9 in the title! :?

On the offhand chance that Slade might pop by every once in a while, I thought I'd post that WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS is a totally absurd, and highly entertaining film. The premise of the film being that a documentary film crew follows around the members of a motley bunch of vampire roommates.

We watched "The Strangers" 2008 film on Halloween.

Have to say the idea of being trapped in your house while unknowns taunt, intimidate, stalk, and terrorize the people inside the house is bone chilling.

I saw a document that this was actually inspired by elements of what Charles Manson and party did back in the day.

Was definitely a suspenseful movie if none of you have seen this film.

in 2015 three movies stand out: Mad Max Fury Road, Spectre, and Star Wars The Force Awakens.

Everything else was just background noise for me.

What We Do in the Shadows was a lot of fun.

Mad Max: Fury Road and Star Wars: The Force Awakens were both great. I didn't see many of last year's films because I had no interest in most of them.

One we watched a couple of weeks ago that I really loved was Mr. Holmes, with Ian McKellan as Sherlock Holmes.

I want to see Mr. Holmes but I haven't had the chance yet.

Never heard of What We Do in the Shadows. I'll have to look into that one.
