Great series that, got both series 1&2 down loaded it from the Torrent's lot.

Speaking of which, I've paused 'Lewis' very nice it is too, slightly different from 'Morse' but a goodie all the same though. "Lewis's" sidekick is an interesting bloke, and played very well by Laurence Fox. Anyone ever seen 'Lewis'.? If not give it a bash, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Ok 'nuff from me I'm going back 'Lewis' I got two more stories of his to watch....NICE. 8-)

Wayward Soul: I turned off "UPSTAIRS, DOWNSTAIRS", not because I hate the English, but because it was boring me to f#%king tears!

Thank you, WS. Now you've done it. Now you've really done it!

UPSTAIRS, DOWNSTAIRS came out in the years when I didn't watch TV. The murder trial years.

Recently, PBS did a show on the best of Masterpiece Theatre, and U,D came in at # 1.

http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/masterpiece/bestof/winners.html

Even that didn't move me.

However, there I was in the library, scanning the DVD shelves, and I saw UPSTAIRS, DOWNSTAIRS, the complete first season, with the missing episodes. I remembered your comment, so I thought I'd check it out and watch a couple of minutes so I could form an opinion...and now, thanks to you, I've got sixty-eight f#%king episodes to watch!

That's sixty-eight hours!! Damn you, WS!

I may have mentioned it here before, but I highly recommend The Duchess of Duke Street, too. Similar in theme, sort of, to Upstairs, Downstairs.

I thought Comanche Moon was very well done, though the whole subplot with Val Kilmer's character ended being a lot of lead-up to a whole lot of nothin'. Steve Zahn was amazing as Gus, IMO.

Slade,

The girls know exactly which Muppet is my favorite. He's #1 on the list in your link:

As for a Brain...

MM,

That put a smile on my face. Don't forget to hunt down the Fredric March restoration one of these days.
