That's one thing we have in common, MM. I've always identified with him. And it's what we call my brother's cat Charlie, who eats like him.

Have you seen this?:

MM,

Those are actually cupcakes made up to look like Cookie Monster, and they've obviously taken one of those little miniature cookies you can get, and stuck it into the mouth of Cookie Monster.

Night Gallery...never watched it. Judging by this sample, maybe that's too bad:

Night Gallery was a great show, MM!

Not up to the level of The Twilight Zone, but still quite good.

[heavy_sarcasm] Thanks, guys! Another TV show to jack up my internet bill![/heavy_sarcasm]

I enjoyed "The Caterpillar" and just started watching "She'll be Company For You." It's good stuff, even funny at times. Lord Bottomley? Seriously?

"The Caterpillar" was based on the short story "Boomerang" by Oscar Cook:

Great twist ending! Creepy stuff.

True story:

When the man of the house was courting his wife, she would talk about neighbours she had grown up with named Bottomley. "Oh, the Bottomleys are great people...you should meet the Bottomleys..." and so on. And he did meet the Bottomleys one day, and as he said after telling the story, "His wife could have warned him." About what? About the Bottomleys being rather bottom-heavy, every last one of them.
"Hi, we're the Bottomleys!"
"Yes. Yes, you are."

Anyway, that's why I can't help but laugh whenever I hear the name Bottomley.

Well here's an intriguing rumour about a show that I think fits the 'classic' category now:
