I think it would be interesting to know which Board Style each person has chosen to use here.
I'm using the bsrf style that was initially here when this present board was installed. I looked at the rest, and decided I liked this one best.
I don't know if my monitor is classified as a "darker" monitor as raasnio has described. My monitor is a 19" Samsung SyncMaster 955DF.
What that means for it, I know not.

I updated the board styles. Go to your control panel-->Board Preferences-->Board style.
