Bucket List

Postby Brooster » Thu Mar 29, 2012 2:02 am

What are a couple of things on your bucket list? Notice I wrote " couple". Also , not fantasy list. To me a bucket list is something that can actually happen. Okay some fantasys can happen , but lets leave that alone!
1.) I'd like to have the courage and fortitude (?...probably not the right choice of words), to tell everyone that I care about that I love them.
2.) skydive

1. Ride a roller coaster that goes loop-d-loop. Those things scare me! :outtahere:
2. Travel to Gettysburg.

Unfortunately, most of my items would be on a fantasy list, as for one reason or another, there's only about .005% chance they would happen, so they're not true bucket list items anyway.

I climbed the Great Pyramid.
I went on safari in Africa.
I met and corresponded with Ed McBain.
I wrote a novel.
And I suffered a cannibal curse.

I'd say my list is shaping up fine!

I.am .sladist.
I would leave "swimming with the sharks", last on my list if I was yoo!

add one to my list; write a short story. (something that is deemed worthwhile to others to acually read).
I have a first line or sentence....."The old man walked down the road, on his way back home, and thought, "it is the
same every day but not the same.

I don't really have a bucket list, but what I'm planning to do if or when I get out of university and still have some money is:
-do a cross Canada driving trip with my little sister and our cousins (probably means I should try to get my full licence)
-visit Chicago
-see Whale Sharks

sladist,

No, no, no, no, NO!

You don't want to go to Tahiti. That's far too commercial. Hawaii, but they speak French.

You want Aitutaki. The South Pacific like Tahiti was 50 years ago.

Stretch out and relaaaaax...

Ever since seeing the IMAX film, THE LIVING SEA, my South Pacific destination of choice was Palau. But, now that SURVIVOR did one of their series there, I fear that it's probably become too commercial.

Can't really say I've ever had a Bucket List though.

Thanks Mr Slade! I will take that onto consideration. Might make a nice honeymoon some day ...
Ah, someday ...

Ahem, Mr Brooster, why should I leave swimming with the Great Whites for last? I should want to do that first so that if I do not survive at least I have fulfilled one thing on my list. Besides its just a little fishy fish! What are they 15 .... 16 feet?
