No comment.... except the old adage A TIME, AND A PLACE for such things..
Wait until Victoria....
“After my head has been chopped off, will I still be able to hear, at least for a moment , the sound of my own blood gushing from my neck? That would be the best pleasure to end all pleasure. “

10 OUT OF 11

SO...

Lets look at the eating with hands then...

It says fried chicken, first established by the americans.
In fact anywhere there is a fast food outlet, imported from the ex colonials, there are no knives and forks..
Which just goes to show...

So

British take away food shops, I.E. fish and chip shops always have plastic cutlery available, and keep knives and forks behind the counter if they have a seating area.. They don't keep it on the table that often, they don't want to scare away the American tourists..

So no, frankly, you wouldn't use fingers in a British fast food place, though we do tolerate it in an American fast food 'joint'..

And really??
In hot climates, with rats, and free running dogs, and cockroaches, a bar, or eating establishment would allow you to leave food crumbs on the floor till they close up and sweep????

Good quiz though..

Author A.J. Hartley posted this to his FB page today, and I thought there might be those here who would appreciate it:

This didn't surprise me, but it just seems so wrong...

I was surfing the net looking for a way to get rid of some old books I have no use for anymore and came across this:

Books 2 Prisoners. Interesting idea.

Here at Metafilter:

http://www.metafilter.com/

It's an aggregator site. People submit links that are interesting, informative, controversial and intriguing. Good stuff. I'm about halfway through their archive. It's a site well worth checking out.
