In 1983, I was a 16 year old fat bastard. The only thing I wanted more than the stuff in these pages of the Sears Wishbook...

http://www.retroist.com/2008/12/17/the-video-game-systems-of-the-1983-sears-wishbook/

was the ability to talk to girls without stuttering. I did get a Pacman portable videogame eventually.

I made a lot of stuff out of household scraps back in my day. I still go around collecting junk that I might be able to repurpose. I just can't think how I got started on it, being a spoiled child of the nineties from a middle-class home. Spontaneous generation, I guess. There might be hope for future generations.

That's pretty neat! Now I want to look back through old photos and see if I can come up with something.

Years ago, there was a site called GetYourWarOn, launched right after September 11, 2001, that made commentary about the war on terror. Hilarious stuff. Loved it to bits. Now, the creator has returned with GetYourCensorOn.

What the hell?

Can anyone confirm the existence of this product?

...And if you can, what is it?

Gator meat is pretty good but I don't know about a canned version.

What I find more offensive is the idea that he provides a link to donate money to him . . . who the ?%#% would ever be stupid enough to send him money???????  :outtahere:

So the Luftwaffe built wooden planes as decoys, so the Allies responded with wooden bombs?

I don't think that would work today . . . with all the spy satellites in the skies and their ability to scan at street level . . phoney just wouldn't cut it.
