Hey, everyone. It's snowing a bit up here in Lillooet and it is a bit chilly, but not as cold as it was yesterday.

Anyhoo, Steelclaw, I think you're referring to baseboard heaters. Those can warm your room up in a hurry but it sure is a dry heat. Sometimes this season can make my eyeballs feel like two balls of cotton. Lillooet is a semi-arid place so I can just remember back to july when it was 39 degrees celsius and I think i prefer this freezing climate a bit more.

Anyways, I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday season. Cheers you lot! :D

Actually, her name is Dariya. Here's the photo that Fark photoshopper DarkJohnson used as the basis for the tree:

Link removed, due to the other site redirecting it to something a lot more inappropriate than what I was originally linking to.

Slade,

Is it Lucerne eggnog you've extolled the virtues of in the past? We got a carton of that instead of the Dairyland we usually get at Save-On, and I have to agree, it's much better. It was cheaper too.

Yow! Steely, what is that smut-peddling wench trying to do? As if we healthy red-blooded boys don't find temptations enough in the real world, we now have to contend with this kind of thing in Sladeville as well! Is there no haven of decency for a fine, upright (now more than ever *ahem*) fellow anymore? That link is totally inappropriate for this forum. Isn't it? I'd better go check it one more time to be sure.

Shame on you, Mbwun. Shame, shame. Just as I thought. Totally inappropriate. Isn't it?

Never thought I'd say it Hyde, but I'm glad I'm of the age that reminds of the saying "youth is wasted on the young". Jeez, I'm glad I am not 18 teen, still, was a bit surprised by the subject matter. Things haven't changed THAT much since I was.

Hope your eyesights alright though.!

And HAPPY CHRISTMAS to you and yours.

Looks like the host site of that pic decided to send people to other places than the pic I meant them to go to, so the link has been removed.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE !!!

What snow is falling seems to be melting on the ground when it lands. Maybe I won't have to be doing any more shovelling today, after all.

Merry Christmas ! ! !

Hope you are all having a wonderful time, my friends - things have been hectic for the past week (someone ploughed into me turning out of a lt. hand turn lane and rammed the side of my truck . . . so I've been driving a rental since Fri. - I just LOVE the extra stress at this time of year!!!)

I'm just getting ready to head out to my friend's and her family for Christmas . . . but had to stop by and wish everyone good cheer . . .
 :D

Just woke up from a nap, myself. I spent yesterday evening with my sister and her great kids; I used to babysit them and now the youngest is in college.

We still have quite a bit of snow on the ground here in Portland and it's slow, sloppy going but seems to be getting better.

I hate to think of you being alone for Christmas, Brother Steely, 'though I've spent plenty of holidays in diners and so forth. I'd have you to dinner if I could; maybe next year you and all the Sladists can drop by. Hope you're all warm, happy and healthy. "God bless us, every one."
