KAMIKAZE

Postby Slade » Wed Mar 01, 2006 3:16 am

Sladists,

Time to return to the Slade Website to check out the slide shows that hint at the plots of KAMIKAZE and SWASTIKA.

Let's have a round of applause for MM's art and the visual setup by the one and only Eric the Webmaster.

Time to put on your thinking caps. The clues are there, and the past points to the future.

Unforunteatly, for problems I have yet to discover and resolve, I am currently unable to view the slideshows. I hope I'm not missing too much.

You will need Microsoft Powerpoint to view the slideshows.

Folks: It might be worth trying to view the slideshow without PowerPoint. After you click the link, you can see each slide individually by clicking the buttons on the left: Slide 1, Slide 2, etc. Or you can click on the little "movie screen" icon at lower right. Slide 1 pops up full-screen, then you can hit the spacebar and see the images in succession. It looks to me like these are all HTML images.

Although I have PowerPoint on my computer, it doesn't seem like it comes into play to view the slideshow. But I could be wrong. I apologize for any confusion I caused by generating images in PowerPoint. It's all I have for graphic software!

Cheers! MM

When in 2006? PLEASE don't tell me it's November.....my shattered psyche couldn't take it!! Penguin's site doesn't list it in their upcoming books. Will it be released in the States as well as Canada, or will I have to import this one too?

I have the power point viewer, but still cannot see anything either.

Could we maybe get links to the presentations so we can download both of them to our computers?

Ok. I can get the slideshows to work if I use Internet Explorer instead of my default browser, which is Firefox.

If anyone is having trouble seeing the slideshows let us know which browser you are using and whether you have a powerpoint reader or not.

Chances are you should be able to see it if you are using Internet Explorer.

Just visit the main site and click the links. They should open inside your browser window.

I don't know why I can't view it, I have Power Point, it just won't show up, and I'm not quite computer savvy enough to venture a guess. If someone could post the pictures that would be awsome.
